I'm glad you're here.

Let's explore what you need.

GET IN TOUCH

It’s frustrating to feel like your thoughts and emotions aren’t in alignment. And being in constant survival mode is exhausting. Panic, burnout, grief, shame, overwhelm, hopelessness, loneliness - these emotions aren’t a sign of weakness. They are profoundly human.

If we are able to pay attention, difficult feelings can be guideposts, telling us what we might need in order to move forward. But they can be painful to explore.

Therapy can provide a supportive space to slow down and reflect on your needs and experiences in a way that feels safe and manageable. It’s often our default to beat ourselves up when things aren’t as we had imagined. And it’s difficult to look at our own struggles through fresh eyes.

In session, it’s possible to approach your story from a place of compassionate curiosity - including the painful parts, the hopeful parts, and everything in between.

Does therapy feel like the right next step?

As a fellow human in the world, I know what it’s like to hurt and get stuck. I can join you in the shadows, listen with empathy, and we can figure out the next steps together.

I’m passionate about helping adults and teens who are struggling with anxiety or recovering from trauma. And I’m honored to work alongside parents who are in the thick of it as they care and advocate for children with complex needs.

Together we can practice coping skills to enhance safety and connection and build your capacity for the work we will do. We can explore what’s behind the confusing and complex emotions and find the balance between life’s demands and your inner reservoir of capabilities.

I don’t fix my clients, because they aren’t broken. My goal is to empower my clients - in session, and then in “real life” - to find fulfillment and achieve a balanced life.

You don’t have to do it alone.

In our sessions, you will be seen and heard.

You are welcome here, as you are.

I invite my clients to explore life’s complexities and give themselves permission to move forward, with the difficult and the joyful.

My approach is genuine, compassionate and non-judgemental. I take a humanistic perspective, which means I view my clients as the experts on their experiences and we work together toward whatever fulfillment looks like for you. Being a human is hard and complicated and beautiful and sacred. You can bring it all to session.

We can still be crazy after all these years. We can still be angry after all these years. We can still be timid or jealous or full of feelings of unworthiness. The point is...not to try to throw ourselves away and become something better. It's about befriending who we already are.
